Where?
The accommodations, ceremony, and activities are all at Deloro Valley near Tuolumne, CA.
Deloro Valley
17301 Silver Spur
Tuolumne, CA 95379
Heads up: there is a similarly named road nearby, so please use the exact address above or the Google Maps link to make sure you arrive at the right place.
(It's about 15 mins from Sonora which is a "real town" with pharmacies, grocery stores and etc.)
When?
We will be there from Thursday (July 16) at 3pm to Sunday (July 19) 11am.
We would love it if you stayed with us for the whole weekend! But if you prefer to stay fewer nights, or just attend the ceremony on Saturday that's fine too.
What time is the ceremony and other events?
See the Schedule page for event details.
How will accommodations work?
There are on-venue accommodations. There should be enough space for everyone! Our dream is to bring our friends, families, and communities together for a weekend of celebration and fun, so we HIGHLY encourage everyone to stay on property if possible!

The hotels in Sonora, CA are about a 17 min drive from the property if you prefer to stay elsewhere.
How do I check in?
You'll receive a code by email a few days before check-in that will give you access to your room—that's it, no front desk check-in needed!
If you haven't received a code by July 14, contact us: pre-wedding weekend, contact Chris; otherwise contact Lynn, our wedding planner, at +1 (760) 807-3175.
There will only be limited hours of on-site assistance for check-in, roughly 3–6pm. Either way, you can always head directly to your room (see the venue map)!
If there are any problems checking in, contact Lynn, our wedding planner, at +1 (760) 807-3175.
Is there a map of the venue?
Where do I park?
- If you're staying in the Upper Lodge, you can park directly next to your cabin—just go up the hill.
- Otherwise, please park in the main lot.
- If the main lot is full, you can park on the right-hand side of the road (pond side) as you come into the Deloro Valley property.
What should I bring?
Here's a packing list to help those of you staying for the whole weekend prepare:
- Sunscreen
- A cooler - there are no fridges in your room
- Alcohol — think of this as a BYOB weekend. (We will definitely serve drinks sometimes, but you should have your own supply)
- Bug spray - with a bit of bad luck there could be mosquitos
- Bathing suit - the pool will be open all weekend
- Pool towel — bathroom towels are provided, but you're supposed to not use them at the pool!
- Disco and/or Cowboy costume - for those arriving Thursday, you'll want a costume for the Disco at the Dusty Saloon party.
- Pool floaties - fun pool floaties encouraged
- Pool safety floaties for kids - the venue doesn't provide kid pool safety equipment
- Glow lights or LEDs
- Your yoga mat - if you want to yoga
- Your own reusable cup — help us cut down on single-use cups by bringing your own cup! (Burning Man style!)
- A refillable water bottle — there are water stations around the property to fill up at
- Toiletries — bring your own shampoo, soap, and other toiletries; they are not provided in the rooms
- Snacks — we're providing three meals a day, but you might want more food!
There is nothing available for purchase on the property—no food, drinks, snacks, or supplies. Plan to bring everything you need! The stores in Sonora are about 15–17 minutes away if you need to stock up.
No lifeguard on duty. Please bring appropriate water safety gear for your children.
Are kids welcome? Are dogs welcome?
Kids are welcome!
Dogs, unfortunately, are not allowed at Deloro Valley. Woof.
Is there childcare?
A group of friends is organizing some group childcare (e.g., shared nannies), if you think you'd be interested in participating contact Chris.
What will the weather be like?
It will be hot! Plan for a weekend of shorts and bathing suits and hats.
Bring sunscreen! And other hot weather gear: sun umbrellas, wide brimmed hats, cooling towels, etc.
What should I wear?
For most of the weekend, you should be wearing whatever is comfortable!
For the ceremony, think something like "Hawaiian Beach Wedding" level of formality. Think light, flowy, and comfortable shirts and dresses. For instance, Hawaiian shirts or summer dresses—whatever will let you look good in hot weather!
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
For the ceremony heels are discouraged—depending on where you're staying on the property there may be uneven terrain. We recommend comfortable flats, sandals, or wedges.
Food?
We'll be providing meals all weekend from Thursday Dinner to Sunday breakfast. The reception is on us—of course—but if you are attending other meals this weekend and are able to, we hope you'll consider contributing $10-30 per meal. But only if you're eating and can afford it!
Don't worry though, if you attend you will be fed!
Please note there is no refrigeration or kitchen access available on the property!
There is also nothing available for purchase on the property—no food, drinks, or snacks for sale. Bring anything extra you'll want. Sonora's stores are about 15–17 minutes away.
Drinks / BYOB?
You can and should bring your own drinks! We will be providing some drinks during the weekend, but you should mostly think of this as a BYOB weekend. Bring your favorite drinks! And remember to bring a cooler to keep them in!
Is there a fridge? Can I buy ice on-site? Should I bring a cooler?
Bring a cooler! There are no refrigerators in your rooms!
If possible, please bring some of your own ice from outside!
There is ice available in the Pool House and the kitchen in the Upper Lodge Dining Hall. If you take a bag for personal use, please Venmo $3 to https://venmo.com/coxcox.
What about Wi-Fi and cell service?
Wi-Fi is available and works best in the main lodge. The signal is weaker at the cabins, and it may slow down when many guests are online at once. If you need a reliable connection for work or anything else, there's a Starbucks about 15 minutes away in Sonora.
Cell service is generally good throughout the property, and like the Wi-Fi, it's strongest at the lodge.
There should be no password required.
Activities?
We will have fun activities all weekend long—think pool parties, zip lines, yoga, dance parties, sauna-ing, and so forth.
How do I share photos? (The Lense App)
We're using Lense, a shared photo app, to collect everyone's pictures and videos from the weekend in one place! Think of it as a digital disposable camera for the whole event—snap photos right from your phone (no app download required) and they all land in our shared album. You can browse everyone else's shots too, and the album stays up for months afterward so you can keep adding and downloading memories.
Join our album here: Open the Lense Album
Or scan this QR code with your phone's camera:
Heads up: the album doesn't open until Thursday, July 16 at 9am.
Please snap away all weekend—we'd love to see the celebration through your eyes!
What about drinking water?
All the water on the property is potable, so you can drink from any tap. If you'd prefer filtered water, there are two filtered water stations available:
1. On the outside wall of the "Event Center" 2. In the lodge (where breakfast is served)
